    Missing You

I can't actually tell you this, because it's not fair to you. I want to talk to you, but every time I think about it I chicken out. I loved you so much, and believe it or not (most likely not) I still do. I love you, and I miss you. But of course I can't ever tell you that, due to the aforementioned fairness, and the fact that I'm a coward. Everything I do or think during the day makes me think of you, and us. I'm just sorry that I can't bring myself to face you right now. You probably think I've abandoned you don't you? That or that I don't care about you anymore, or maybe you youself have moved on and don't care either way. I was too flawed for you, I know that. Remember how I used to say I felt bad because I wanted to write something special and unique for you? Well, ain't this a kick in the ol' behind, after I lose you, I come up with this. It got rave reviews in one of my classes, course I didn't tell them anything in detail, just that it was for someone very special. I don't know why I'm even bothering to put this here, since what are the chances you'll ever find this place anyway?

    Angel’s Eyes

I open my eyes to greet the day; her eyes are there too,

A sight that I am glad is enjoyed by so few.

Endless glittering pools they are, how they dance and gleam

Eyes so clear and perfect, truly heavenly they seem.

Her smile is the sun; it brightens and brings peace,

Her voice is music, causing worry to cease.

Her skin is soft and pure, her touch electrifies,

And all this I take in, while being lost in her eyes.

I return to them, a parched man at his stream,

Joy swells my heart, truly heavenly they seem.

Hear these words my dear, and take them to heart.

If I go to what lies beyond, we shan’t be far apart.

I will still be with you, waiting at the gate

To take your hand and guide you, as you meet your fate.

And when we meet again, at the banks of that eternal stream

I’ll reflect again on your eyes,

    Truly heavenly they seem.

In short, I love you angel...you know who you are. (I hope)

(NOTE: As with ALL writing work I may post here, this belongs to ME. If I find that someone has used ths or altered it without my permission and without giving me due credit, they will be in trouble.)

Hey, I might be having a sappy moment, but I also have to take a time out to protect my work. :)
